The Rooftop is beautiful

Hôtel mal insonorisé (circulation importante sur la grande avenue, bruit de douche..). La terrasse toit n'ouvre que d'AVRIL à OCTOBRE non précisée, dommage.

This is a very good three star hotel. Area is a little rough but we were in and out of the hotel a lot and never had any problems. Staff were helpful and friendly. Housekeeping came everyday with clean towels and did a good job and the breakfast was much better than expected with lots of variety and staff worked hard to keep the breakfast area neat and well stocked as some days were very busy ( we stayed four nights) The hotel is close to the metro line ( we’re from the uk and found this hard to navigate ) public buses and something we highly recommend for value is the hop on and of tourist bus a mere three minute walk away from the hotel to the bus stop and such good value.of course being close to transport means traffic! Luckily the rooms are triple glazed. Also conveniently located a three minute walk away is the bread factory. Great for treats and snacks. We had a strawberry slushie every day as it was so hot during our visit. One of the best points of the hotel is the rooftop bar with it stunning view of the Acropolis. They could do with better lighting on the stairway up to it though.

Room was ok had a view of the acropolis from our Balcony. Reception staff were friendly and breakfast was good. Went to the roof top bar with some nice views

Central location, close to a metro station. Room was nice and basic. Breakfast was good. City view of Athens from the rooftop was amazing! Don’t miss it!

The rooms are very basic, the air conditioner wasn't very effective. Breakfast was very bland. Very noisy at night, we went and bought earplugs after the first night! Advertised as having a roof top bar, but this wasn't available for our stay. Balcony only fits one person on it. Only 3 coat hangers between 2 of us for 2 days! Thank goodness for The Bread Factory on the next corner, and for another hotel up the road, which allowed us to enjoy their roof top bar!!!

Hotellet var valgt pga god pris og tagterrasse i fornuftig afstand til Acropolis. Men tagterrassen var bare slet ikke åben selvom vi kom i starten af maj måned. En skam for udsigten derfra var vidunderlig. Jeg mistænker at den terrasse aldrig er åben for de reklamerer ikke med den og andre anmeldelser giver også dette indtryk. Morgenmaden var OK til prisen. Vores seng manglede en topmadras så fjedrene kunne mærkes. På et andet værelse lugtede det grimt i badeværelset.

Rooftop excellent view

Hotel correct, propre, insonorisation suffisante et silencieuse, malgré le bruit élevé de la rue en contrebas. Petite soirée cocktail sur la terrase en haut de l'immeuble, avec vue sur le Parthénon très appréciable.

Hôtel proche d’une bouche de métro et d’un parking . Très bruyant . Terrasse non accessible le matin pour déjeuner… dommage

Hotel is supposed to be a 3 star, was a 2 at best. Hotel is dated, tired and very dull, and constantly smelt of cigarette smoke, the bathroom was very basic, the balcony only has 1 chair as it was so small. Breakfast was ok but no bread or toaster. Wouldn't stay here again as it was also very noisy from the road

The front desk attendant was absolutely wonderful! Was able to go above and beyond to help us and answer our many questions. Helped us figure out a way to the airport even with a transportation strike 5/5 The hotel room shower head was broken and there were clumps of hair in our bed. Was very loud during the night from people in hallway talking and traffic. The lights were all different shades of bulbs. The area the hotel is in is incredibly unsafe and has lots of illegal activity going on. A police man told us while walking home that it is a very unsafe place to stay for women. The front desk assistant however made the stay worth it as he was absolutely wonderful

Property was very clean but was rundown and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Bathroom was very small and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor.

Very clean, friendly staff comfortable bed for a very reasonable price. Also breakfast was included and a very good breakfast.

Ottima struttura, a due passi dalla fermata metro linea rossa. Personale gentile e check-in veloce. Ci hanno dato la camera al sesto piano con vista partenone. Camere pulite con balconcino.

What I liked: The hotel is conveniently located near bus stops and the metro station. There is a very nice traditional Greek breakfast served free each morning. There are small markets and several restaurants and food stands nearby. There is a small fridge in the room. What I did not like: It's on a very noisy busy street, however the soundproof balcony doors do a great job of suppressing the sound for sleeping. There were ants in my bathroom sink everyday but the room and bathroom were kept relatively clean. The water temperature fluctuated a lot while showering so it was very annoying having to frequently adjust it.

Staff were helpful and can not complain about anything at the hotel. Rooms were clean and kept nice

Very close to a metro station and easy to get around the city. Nice bakery close to the hotel and they had ready made meals too! The lady at the reception was very helpful. Not a lot of choice at the breakfast buffet, but enough to get you going for the day. Room was not very modern but big and clean.

zur Innenstadt nur 15 min zu Fuß, Dachterrasse mit Blick zur Akropolis Unsaubere abgewohnte Zimmer, einfaches eintöniges Frühstück, befindet sich an einer vielbefahrenen Haupstrasse= viel Lärm und Abgas Gestank Personal an nur teilweise freundlich

Apollo Hotel is a basic hotel with all the amenities needed for a short stay in Athens. The breakfast options are small but tasty, the location is close to the train station and there is a nice view of the acropolis from the higher floors. If you stay here you could consider catching the train to the city centre, however there are still many nice restaurants nearby.

Μια ήσυχη επαγγελματική διαμονή στο Ξενοδοχειο αυτό.Ευρύχωρο με θεα ωραία από τον 6 όροφο που έμεινα.Το πρόβλημα που υπήρχε είναι το Wi-Fi ήταν ανύπαρκτο

The property is ok for the price paid. We booked 2 rooms. Rooms are spacious. Our biggest complaint is that our beds are toooo low. It’s about 1 ruler above the floor AND are so uncomfortable. Waking up with body aches is NOT good when you’re in vacation. Breakfast is sufficient (not too may options) staff are NOT the best but NOT the worst either. Great view of the Parthenon on roof top of the hotel. Property is close to Hop on Hop off stop A13.

Estadia razoável, pois o ar-condicionado tem controle remoto que só liga e desliga, não dando a opção de regulagem de temperatura.

Uitstekende locatie nabij metro. Kamer met balkon. Slechte bedden. Slechts 4 tv zenders en alleen Grieks.

Hotel liegt an einer sehr befahrenen Straße und es ist daher sehr laut. Die Betten sind sehr unbequem und die Bäder gehören teilweise renoviert

Great location near metro stop and a 24hr bakery/sandwiches/hot food. Room had a great view from balcony and provided soap, shower cap & small tolietries. Good sized room with twin beds and 2 good mirrors. Although located on a busy street room was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast provided and had lots of good choices. Front desk staff was helpful.

Great location in city center. Close to Metro, food, shopping, etc. From our balcony we could see the Parthenon and Acropolis. The bed was too hard for my taste but overall great place to stay.

Dette var ikke et bra hotell. Det ene rommet vi bodde på hadde steinharde og knirkete senger - umulig å sove. Aircondition bråkte veldig. Frokosten var den simpleste vi noensinne har fått servert og flere av de ansatte i resepsjonen var sure, frekke og lite imøtekommende. Skikkelig dårlig! Dusjhodet på det ene badet falt av og traff min datter i hodet. Elendig kvalitet og hun kunne blitt skadet. Takterrassen var imidlertid hyggelig med flott utsikt og hotellets beliggenhet var bra. Kan allikevel ikke anbefale det, dessverre.

Staff was so rude and not help at all. Especially a lady in the counter she yelled me.

Staff very helpful and friendly.

Værelserne var fine. Der stod i beskrivelsen af hotellet at der var restaurant,det var der ikke, der stod bar i lobbyen,det var der ikke. Personalet var ikke service minded, smilende ikke, sagde ikke godmorgen osv

We have stayed at the Apollo previously. We enjoy the location and staff. All of the workers are so friendly and kind. This is a no-frills hotel, but everything worked fine, including lots of hot water. The breakfast, while modest, was a nice bonus. Since Apollo is on a busy road at a large roundabout, some might find it to be loud, but I enjoy the energy and sounds of Athens when at the Apollo. The local neighbourhood has lovely bakeries and cafes and shops.

Walkable location to all the sites you want to see in Athens. Close to restaurants and coffee shops. Great morning breakfast. Friendly staff. Good backpacking hotel.

People at the front desk were extremely rude!! Very confrontational. Rooms were ok but sheets were not changed. Breakfast was very poor we skipped it both mornings. Just a very bad experience especially the front desk. Need lessons in customer service and hospitality.

El hotel está bien ubicado. A 100m del metro de Metaxourgeio, a cuatro estaciones de la Acrópolis, y a tres de la céntrica Plaza Syntagma, a donde puedes conectar con el resto de los sitios de interés de la ciudad. El desayuno es bueno, acorde con el precio. Solamente en contra la red wifi, que en mi habitación era intermitente. Repetiría sin duda de volver a la ciudad

Great location very close to Metro and hop on/of bus. Reasonable and good breakfast included.

Hotel and room overall were great and spacious for our carryons and backpacks. Location close to main attractions by walking 15-30mins. But surrounding neighborhoods and small side streets at night were a bit iffy for walking around. Sticking to the main roads felt safer.

We stayed here for 5 days. The hotel is clean and very central. 2 min walk to the metro and the bus-stop is outside the door to the hotell. Litterarely right outside; so sometimes It was a problem to get out. We saw many drugabusers, hobos living on the street and even people smoking crack. The breakefast is really bad. I felt safe inside the hotell, and the staff was very Nice and helpful.
