Hôtel pratique à 20 mn à pieds de l’Acropole et des activités touristiques, ouvert 24 h sur 24 h, bon rapport qualité prix. Chambres un peu vieillottes, pdj industriel. Hôtel qui accueille des groupes et malheureusement ces personnes se retrouvent à plusieurs dans leurs chambres et n’ont aucun respect pour les autres, ce n’est pas la faute de l’hôtel malheureusement.

Buona posizione.nel.quartiere Monastiraki a 6-7 minuti a piedi dalla metro. Ma vicino anche alla metro di piazza omonia. Reception aperta 24 h. Forse la colazione potrebbe essere più ampia ma è comunque continentale. Nel complesso un buon soggiorno e una buona soluzione per Atene

This is a family owned "2 *" property per the front desk staff. World travelers, we would rate it 3.5 *. For a big, international city, my wife and I stayed here for a final nite after our cruise and would Definitely do it again for the price!! We are Marriott Bonvoy members and for 1/3 the cost of the Marriott Fresh Hotel across the street, where we stayed before the cruise for 2 nites, we were more than satisfied! It is clean, efficient, average for European free breakfast, and the location is very convenient. No rooftop bar and no onsite restaurant, but several very good restaurants, bakeries, and bars rated at least 4 * by Trip Advisor, within just a few blocks away(<5 mins). Demetrius at front desk for some 21 years, is more than glad to hold your bags before checkin time (3 pm) AND after checkout(11:30 am) for FREE.

Great honest hotel! We had a wonderful stay at a wonderful price. The bathroom was recently updated, which was nice and having access to the rooftop was fun for a nice view (bring your own drinks or snacks is perfect when on a budget). The employees at the front desk and breakfast were all very kind and lovely. Thank you!

Second time staying at this hotel. Went to Corfu for a week in between, and they remembered our name when we came back fr this stay. Very helpful desk. No inflated prices for the well stocked drinks in the lobby. Will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Athens. A great location.

The hotel was in the city center and was close to everything and most attractions. The room was clean, and the room was cleaned daily. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if in Athens in the future and would recommend it to a friend.

Travelling with my daughter. We stayed for 3 nights, staffs are welcoming, very helpful of how to get to the places that we wanted to visit. Good Breakfast options, good location. Housekeeping staff cleaned the room every day. I will recommend this hotel .

5 star for us ! So good location, literally 10 minutes walking from the high street, 20 minutes walking from the Acropolis. I felt very safe as a lone woman with a young child. Very clean, looks like newly refurbished. Lovely 24 hours reception. Breakfast are basic but very good ! * Would be helpful a dairy alternative milk * I would recommend this 100 % and would come back if I’m in Athens again. Ps: cleaning ladies are amazing !! Every day nice bed and fresh towels. Thank you so much for your hard work !

The room would have benefited from an update and there were several broken/loose fixtures in the room and bathroom. Overall, however, it was an excellent value and I would definitely stay there again.

The furniture and the condition of the rooms were rather bare bones for the price paid. Breakfast didn't vary much and I would bracket by saying it's sufficient. The different guys on shift work at the reception were pleasant. Bear in mind that there is an adult store with adult entertainment just 10 steps across the hotel. However, the area is very close to Monastraki and Syntagma Sq which is definitely a plus. The area can seem dodgy after 9pm so I would suggest be mindful of your surroundings.

My stay was very good. Service was excellent. Toilet seat cover needs a plastic bolt to hold one side in place. Balcony door appears to be sprung and inner door does not close. Everything else was good!

A mejorar: mas variedad en el desayuno, mayor iluminacion en la habitación y sobre todo en el baño, y la ducha es de cortina con poca altura de plato/suelo con lo que se desborda agua al sumidero central del baño.

Exactly as I expected from previous reviews. Although the immediate area was a little seedy it was a 10 - 15 minute walk to the main tourist areas. The room had recently been painted and although it was quite dated it was fine. The only problem was that the bathroom door did not shut properly. The staff were very helpful as many have said and the breakfast was nothing special but for the price of the hotel it was adequate. Overall great value for money and I would recommend.

Economy Hotel was a great place to stay for our current visit to Athens. Breakfast included was OK but could have offered a few more hot options, but overall it was very nice. Access to transportation was great as the hop on hop off bus was across the street. Our room was clean and comfortable and we had very good WiFi access. The front desk staff was amazing and they would always be there to help if needed. Would highly recommend Economy Hotel as a great place to stay as it offers quality service for a budget price.

The staff were extremely helpful, sharing their local knowledge with us eg. telling us about a local bus ticket office where we could buy long distance bus tickets (when our attempts at booking online bus were unsuccessful). Room was clean, beds very comfortable, and breakfast was very good.

Exactly as I expected from previous reviews. Although the immediate area was a little seedy it was a 10 - 15 minute walk to the main tourist areas. The room had recently been painted and although it was quite dated it was fine. The only problem was that the bathroom door did not shut properly. The staff were very helpful as many have said and the breakfast was nothing special but for the price of the hotel it was adequate. Overall great value for money and I would recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable! The staff were friendly and very helpful! The neighborhood however was not that great. I was a little uncomfortable going in and out. There also was a good bit of noise that could be heard throughout the night as well. Still, it is within walking distance to all of the major sites, it’s clean and the staff friendly. Just don’t go alone.

Pros: Front desk is very helpful. Breakfast provided is great. Location is convenient. Hop-on-hop-off bus stop is just 100m from the hotel. Walking distance to Plaka. Cons: Condition of my room is dated, but clean. Elevator is very small.

This older hotel is located a block off the main drag downtown, but very safe. You can walk comfortably to every major point downtown (Acropolis, Agora, the wonderful open air market which has great inexpensive lunches, all the shopping districts, Syntagma Square, the National Gardens, etc.). It has a good free breakfast and the staff is very kind and helpful.

5 star for us ! So good location, literally 10 minutes walking from the high street, 20 minutes walking from the Acropolis. I felt very safe as a lone woman with a young child. Very clean, looks like newly refurbished. Lovely 24 hours reception. Breakfast are basic but very good ! * Would be helpful a dairy alternative milk * I would recommend this 100 % and would come back if I’m in Athens again. Ps: cleaning ladies are amazing !! Every day nice bed and fresh towels. Thank you so much for your hard work !

Excellent location. The hotel different-shift receptionists are all very helpful & polite. Breakfast is amazing well organize and enough variety. It is a small but amazing with high quality service level hotel.

The only thing we disliked was all their fried eggs they had prepared for breakfasts on both days 9th & 10 Aug 25' were very rubbery, you could not even break the egg yolk. Fried eggs shouId be fluffy in touch & soft yolk. I dont know what the cook in the kitchen does to prepare these eggs but something needs to be changed so to avoid throwing it away. So at the end I opted to have hard boiled eggs.

Camas comodas, limpieza aceptable, buena atencion del personal, ubicacion céntrica para patear o utilizar transporte publico y barrio tranquilo. A mejorar: mas variedad en el desayuno, mayor iluminacion en la habitación y sobre todo en el baño, y la ducha es de cortina con poca altura de plato/suelo con lo que se desborda agua al sumidero central del baño.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Man kann beinahe alles zu fuß erreichen. Die Bus und Bahnanschlüsse sind direkt um die Ecke. Das Frühstück war jedoch leider ungenießbar, sowohl der Kaffee, als auch der ganze Rest.

I felt the continental breakfast was one the best I've ever had. The room was quiet with great housekeeping every day. The location is close to metro stops. My only complaint was that when I asked the manager directions to the post office, he said there was no need to go, because he could sell me postcard stamps at their cost of 2 euros each. I found out later they cost 1 euro each. I felt it was a cheap con to pull on a customer who stayed 6 nights at his hotel. It showed a lack of respect for me. John from Albuquerque. December 2023.

Nice and friendly staff. The breakfast was good, and the room was kept clean every day. However, overall it was a fairly standard hotel with a rather small room — no kettle or coffee machine provided, and you need to ask for an iron if you need one. Great location, walking distance to syntagma, and Thisio and Monastiraki. The quality of the rooms, which have a fridge (a must for the summer time) and of the breakfast surely means the hotel deserves 3 starts!! The staff are very friendly and on the last day that i had to leave at 3:30am to catch the airport bus, they had prepared for me breakfast to go, which was fantastic. This is the second year ive stayed here while making a brief stop in Athens. Highly recommended.

Great location within walking distance of Acropolis and wirh views of it from rooftop terrace. Good choice of breakfast buffet items. Front desk manned 24/7 and staff answered questions promptly before our stay to help our travel plans.
